The self cannot NOT know itself.
Everytime a human is trying to know itself as the one self, as the one consciousness, it is the one self knowing itself as a human that is trying to know itself as the one self.
Very so-called intellectual humans are capable of not knowing themselves as the one self, in very sophisticated ways, but still it is the one self, knowing itself, as a human being that is trying to understand itself as a fragment.
Understanding already is. Knowing already is. The instant a human says,I don't know, then knowing is “I don't know”.
There is only one way of knowing yourself as the one self, and that is by stopping to tell yourself, that you do not already know yourself as the one self.
And thereby seeing that you have always known yourself as the one self.
If you claim to NOT know yourself as the one self, it is because you are looking for an idea that you have about what it should look like, or how it should be felt to know yourself as the one self.
All along, it is the one self that is experiencing itself as a human being that is looking for something that should match an idea it has about what it should look like, when a human realizes what it would look like....
The mind is always looking for a concept.
You are not a concept.
